Joel Norvell

Norvell was Chairman and CFO of Norvell-Marcum Company, Inc., 1991-2004. The company, established in 1947, manufactured, distributed and imported a wide variety of consumer goods. Norvell directed modernization of the company's inventory and accounting systems, installing state-of-the-art technology for the industry. Norvell has a broad background in accounting, finance, human resources, and business development. Norvell is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and is a seasoned and opinionated Yoga teacher. Norvell first met Sontag while teaching a class and the two are clearly the Yin and Yang of Vidoop.
Luke Sontag
Co-Founder, President, Technology, 28
Having a first hand view of the weakness of password based authentication, Sontag teamed up with his colleague and friend, Norvell, to create an Internet scale solution to one of the biggest problems facing the Web. Prior to founding Vidoop, Sontag was a security analyst/team lead in Identity & Access Management at JPMorganChase in New York. One of ten children, Sontag worked full time while financing and earning his Bachelor's degree from St. Gregory's University. Straight out of high school, his love of technology led to his first position with Williams Communications (now Level 3 Communications). Three years later, Sontag joined Norvell-Marcum Company, Inc., holding various positions in the finance and technology departments. As President of Technology at Vidoop, Sontag led the early design and prototyping of the company's flagship technology and assembled the team of engineers that ultimately developed Vidoop Secure®.
Mitchell Savage
Executive Vice President, Business Development, 46
A veteran of large corporations and an architect of startup businesses, Savage has built and sold several companies, including Cityvest Financial Corp. (B2B niche financial services to the Fortune-1000), ATM Global Corp. (Automated Teller Machine Network) and Rx SureCheck (Web-based prescription verification system). Prior to joining Vidoop, Savage was an independent business advisor for strategic business units within larger companies, as well as emergent companies preparing for major growth or reinvention. Savage completed a graduate internship program in International Business in Brussels, Belgium and holds a degree in Information Systems from the University of Tulsa.
Scott Blomquist
Chief Technology Officer, 30
Blomquist returned to Oklahoma in December 2006 to head up Vidoop's technology program after more than 7 years of software development at Microsoft. While at Microsoft, he helped ship three versions of the Windows operating system and a handful of other products. Most recently, he helped found and build the Windows Live Multimedia Search Team and led the team responsible for both the user experience and the web serving infrastructure for Live Image Search and Live Video Search. Blomquist holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and attended high school at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.
Scott Kveton
VP of Open Platforms, 34
Kveton is a digital identity promoter, open source advocate, and Chairman of the OpenID Foundation. He has worked at Amazon, RuleSpace.com and JanRain, and founded the Open Source Lab at Oregon State University. Working closely with projects like Mozilla, Linux, Drupal and Apache led Kveton to OpenID in mid-2006. Kveton was named to Red Herring's 2007 list of 25 Titans in Waiting. Kveton speaks publicly about identity and open source and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
